What Are They?
Botox or Dysport relaxes the muscle to prevent it from contracting (creasing)
Fillers provide volume to areas which have lost that plump or full look
Part of the aging process is the arrival of lines and wrinkles and the loss of the skin’s elasticity. Volume in the facial features begins to diminish and this causes furrows and folds, especially around the mouth. Under the eyes can look hollow and the lips, thinner. How animated your facial expressions are can also accelerate the accentuation of lines. None of us want to look older than our actual age and frown lines and the classic “downturned mouth” can be misconstrued as unhappiness – and no-one wants to project that to the world!
Botox and fillers help to smooth and plump these areas to give you a fresher, happier appearance. Botox has also been successfully used to help treat ongoing migraines and the problem of excessive sweating under the armpits.
These treatments are by appointment only. Consultation and Treatment is performed by a Registered Specialist Nurse.
